Working with Lori has been the greatest blessing. Not only was she available to listen and talk whenever I needed her, but she always knew the right time to either challenge or validate me. Lori has taught me the significance of being present, taking things one step at a time, and the importance of staying true to my authentic self.  She has helped keep my motivations high and has continuously reminded me that recovery is worth it.  I am forever grateful for her care, support and dedication. -W.S.

"My daughter attends a boarding school outside of Chicago and was diagnosed with anorexia nervosa seven months ago. We live in Virginia, and I had no idea how to find trustworthy medical resources. A friend of mine put me in touch with with their daughters eating disorder coach, Lori Muller, who had put together a team for their daughter who had been struggling with her eating disorder for 10 years.

I called Lori immediately and she broke it to me gently after we discussed my daughters situation, that my daughter was not going to get better on her own without some help because eating disorders don't just go away.  My daughter was exhausted and starving. Lori and my daughter and myself met for 2 hours.  My daughter was relieved for the help.. We left the meeting and Lori assembled a team consisting of a therapist, nutritionist and school nurse and physician.  Lori found and vetted all the specialists before my daughter ever met with them and then coached my daughter into showing up to her appointments.

Schedules had to fit with her school schedule, so Lori helped make sure that worked too.  When there is a necessary team call, Lori arranged that too. To recover from an eating disorder, it takes hard work, the right people and incredible organizational skills, which Lori handles all of that.  I was so overwhelmed being around my daughter and was too upset to find specialists and convince my daughter to meet with them.  Lori supported my daughter through her entire day.  When my daughter needed support, Lori responded immediately with a text. My daughter never complained because she needed the support before meals, during meals, and after meals, and especially since she was not allowed to exercise.

My husband and I needed coaching as well on what to say and do and what not to say or do!).  She met with us separately, and I texted her for support as much as my daughter did.  It's so frustrating watching a loved one with an eating disorder and Lori helped us stay motivated and gave advice on how to offer loving support while setting necessary boundaries so the family unit could not function.

I now refer to the team Lori assembled as the "Dream Team". My daughter is in recovery and finishing her senior year of boarding school and looking at colleges.  She checks in with her dream team and continues her appointments.

Do not hesitate in hiring Lori, because the disease is all consuming and you will want help navigating  the medical and mental aspects on the path of recovery."-Parent of MT
